Korean-American Democrat Andy Kim is expected to win the House of Representatives seat for New Jersey's 3rd congressional district in the U.S. midterm election. As of Thursday local time, all votes have been counted according to the election commission, and Kim is ahead with 49-point-9 percent of the vote. That's just one-point-one percentage points more than his challenger Republican Tom MacArthur, who is yet to concede the race according to U.S. media. Kim has previously worked as an advisor to the Obama administration on counter-terrorism and national security.
