An activist group called BullyHunters popped up this week to promote an in-game vigilante squad of elite female (and some men) COUNTER STRIKE: GO players. These Bully Hunters will be invited into CSGO matches where female gamers are being harassed, eliminate the player with their elite skills, and then leave. This group is being funded by SteelSeries (and their new headphones) as well as partnering with National Coalition for Women and the Diverse Gaming Coalition. The host of the event, Twitch streamer Nati Casanova, also has a very checkered past when it comes to harassment on twitter. Which has been brought to light. As well as the completely staged event that was the BullyHunters live stream.
